Guest guest Posted August 13, 2004 Report Share Posted August 13, 2004 what does de novo mean? does it mean new, or a spontaneous genetic aberration, as opposed to an inherited one? this is interesting as it's implications for siblings chances of affected offspring. does this mean that (if we have ID'd the gene/chromosome responsible for Charge) we can test siblings during early pregnancy? thanks for any info...genetics experts?
