Nahhh, we all tend to post off topic crap here every now and again, if we

ditched everyone who ever posted, or answered any off topic comment, none of

us would be left behind to complain...:)

All right... frankly I am up to here (gestures at neck) with politics, wars, W,

Kerry, Al Queda, and just about 95% of the JUNK that assaults my ears and eyes

daily. I read this list to TRY and learn something new and useful about my

profession.

Of course, good and welfare info about list members and their family are always

welcome, especially when it is news of a safe return from overseas.

So... wouldn't it be great if we stayed at least somewhere near topic?

If you can read this, thank a teacher

If you can comment freely on this, thank a soldier

Unless a person has walked in a soldier's shoes or been a family member of a

soldier, or of any of the armed forces, he or she has no idea what is faced

everyday by those brave men and women in Iraq and other hostile places

around the world. If you have done either of the above then you wouldn't be

saying those terrible things or even posting them to a list. Since you have

done so, (posted the is), again, thank a soldier AND his or her family that

you can. As a former soldier and family member of a soldier, (I have a

brother and a cousin in Iraq as this is typed), I am grateful everyday for

the First Amendment that allows us to say or in this case post such

derogatroy remarks against our government, a government which by the way has

lasted over 200 years, probably longer than most other governments in this

world. My dad is a veteran of the Vietnam War, my ex-husband a veteran of

Desert Storm, and I myself was in the Army stationed in Germany when the

Marines went into Grenada. I am a Navy Brat, former Army Wife, AND a Veteran

of the U.S. Armed Forces. I speak from experience. Any questions? Please

forgive me I know this is very off topic but I had to have my say in this

matter. I really enjoy reading all the educational and infromative posts by

everyone and have even added my two cents worth once ia a while. Well here's

my million dollar's worthe on this one.
