Hi Zanna

Yes, I bought a really good digital cuff when I first started on the

high pred. As all the symptoms started I took my blood pressure every

day ....which was going up along with my weight. It's a good thing to

have handy so you can monitor your self if you start to feel bad.

I called my lung doctor first thing this morning and after I hung up the

phone she called... (how's that for service!) I didn't even think of

this but I " m on a new inhaler called Advair.... I've taken this before

but stopped it just after one day use because I didn't need it and the

others were doing the same job. Now, I'm suppose to try to use this one

if I can. That's the reason for the higher than normal pulse rate.

This morning everything is normal.... BP: 108/68 and P: 79 ... My

chest however is tight and my right lung hurts (only when I breathe)...

this has happened before and we can't figure out why. The only thing I

can come up with is that it's the metal clips inside my lungs pulling.

Just my guess.... I've had an xray and CTscan while it's hurting and

they can't find anything that would be causing it. So, as it stands

right now... I still use the inhaler and see if I get a little worse, if

so then I stop the inhaler and use my Albuterol until she can call in

another prescription for me. Gee, ain't this fun?...

Hi, Vicki. I also take the Advair puffer and have had pretty good results.

I hope it works out for you and your lungs feel better.
