Guest guest
HI Maureen, You poor thing! You did have quite a day of it didn't you? It was almost like a comedy reading all you went through that day. I like your positive attitude though. That will carry you very far with this. Guest guest
Thanks. I like your attitude. Your message about having a heart attack while trying to catch the bus after your transplant evaluation made me laugh. We do have to be able to laugh, and to take thing in stride. It's not always easy, and we all have days when we get a little depressed, But we're here, we're not dead yet, and life goes on like it does for everyone else. When I was a young naval officer many years ago, I sailed on ships that had what they called, watertight compartments to prevent the ship going down in the event that part of the ship got flooded. Now I try to live in " day-tight compartments " , which basically means one day at a time, just like you said. Now, I have to say I didn't invent that " day-tight compartment " idea. I think it was Orser, if I recall. He was a doctor, a long time ago (could be wrong, as I'm just going by memory).
