Guest guest
Hi all. I finally have time to sit and write. I quit my job on the 23rd, hooray! Then off we flew to my brother-in-laws in Illinois for a week. It was quite an eventful trip. We went to a jazz concert, country music concert and then a Van Halen Rock concert. My goodness it was fabulous. We also went up in the arch. I am proud of Patty and I because I thought for sure we wouldn't be able to do it. She did so I followed. I feel like I accomplished a phenomenal feet. I hate heights and confined places. I did the two! Yea. After a few minutes at the top though I left. I left everyone, including Patty at the top. Oh well, she survived and so did I! Coming home is eventful as always. a, my oldest, isn't doing as well as she could. She had been diagnosed with a seizure disorder at the age 5. They have been changing her meds because her tegretol will damage her liver and if she wants children it could be harmful to the infant. Long story short it seems she might have had a seizure. This was when we were away. She's going in to the hospital on Monday. They'll be taking her off her meds and watching what happens through her EEG. She'll be in for about a week. Gosh I hate it when my children need help but when it is Kris it feels so frustrating. She isn't supposed to be the one. That sounds bad but I hope you all understand what I mean. This all leads me to my next question. How far are they on the genetic research of CHARGE. a is now very involved with a wonderful young man. It looks as though (hopefully in a few years to come!) they are headed down the path of spending their lives together. I worry abut her having children. She wants and should be able to have many. But I also know she is afraid of CHARGE. There is that 2% chance, right. Anyone know how many siblings in fact have children with CHARGE? How's the research going? Bonnie, mom to Patty 19 and thrilled to have me home again, Kris 21 and wife to who is happy he doesn't have to be Mr. mom anymore!

Guest guest
I'm glad you had a good trip ad accomplished something you were a bit afraid of. I'm sorry Kris is not doing well and hope they are able to figure out what is wrong soon and get her medication straightened out. Kay We're home! > Hi all. I finally have time to sit and write.
