Guest guest
Krista- Sorry you had to get so sick in order to get better and not need the Gtube after all -- but I guess the end result is good news, eh? Michele W Aubrie's mom
Guest guest
Oh my! I'm glad you don't need a G-Tube. Do you know what caused your esophageous to be so raw? I wish you well. Bonnie
Guest guest
Wooh, Krista it is gooood to have you back with some answers!!!! Good news also about the g-tube! Keep on eating girl!!! Thinking on the negatives of acidic JUICE, I wonder if BLUEBERRY juice would serve to protect the eosophagus as it does as reported in studies for the bladder (similar to cranberry)? I know those who tube feed find it stains the tube a bit, but also protects from bacteria adhering? As a side note, due to being good for both Urinary tract infection and immune system, CSC had the Van Dyke Blueberry Juice Company from Nova Scotia sponsor CHARGE Syndrome Canada table for DbI conference, and with fingers crossed we hope to get some more for the US conference! (its PURE with no sugar or other additives-natures cure!) Ann Gloyn Canada > Hello; > > I went to the ER Monday Night, dehydrated and weak, and couldn't swallow a bit. I had a scope done on Tuesday and found out that the estophagus is incredably raw and bleading. I was then put on antibiotics to clear that up. By Wednesday I was starting to feel a little bit better, and then on Thursday I was better, I can swallow normally again with no problems, and I don't need a G - Tube. Got discharged today. > > Sincerely yours; Krista Bach. >
