This is what I do, I buy the 200 mg capsules pure ALA from my

health food store and mix the entire capsule thoroughly into honey,

then separate out the doses for each of my four kids. I don't pre-mix

tho, so I cannot comment on that question.

Hi Dagmar,

Please see:

Look in the section " how to mix small dosages " . I think that

what you are suggesting should work fine. I have not mixed

ALA into water myself so I can't say how well it " mixes " .

I only know of ONE source of liquid ALA (it is listed in the

file), and it is much more expensive than doing it yourself.

You may also want to check the price examples listed for

compounded ALA in small amounts. I don't recall how it

compares....
