YEAH Amy!!!!!!!! I am rejoicing with you :-) That is fantastic news all

around, and especially that your clearance is up to 48. You are the new poster

child for the success of Prednisone.

I am glad they are starting to wean you down too. Twenty mg a day is better

than 30 mg and going in the right direction. I am sorry you have to stay on

it even longer than the 6 months, but on the other hand, you can't argue with

the success you are having.

Congratulations! I say go have dinner out and celebrate!

Amy your joy is positively palpable. I hope you and yours are doing

something to celebrate! When is your sister in law's wedding? I've noticed

a dramatic dropped off of 's pred side effects when we hit 20 mg. He

essentially stopped growing for a year in response to the pred, but is

making up for it now (one of the the nastier side effects of pred is that is

suppresses growth and emergence of secondary sexual characteristics) .

Wouldn't exactly call him lean, but the extra pounds are coming off too.

Who know? Maybe that moon face will go too!
