Guest guest
Michele, Our kids have a way of reminding us how special/fragile they really are, don't they? still has not regained her voice since her heart surgery...frustrating for her...but otherwise the surgery did wonders for her. We are lucky to have doctors that can help our kids, but sometimes I wonder why they have to go through so much! karen G > I'm > realizing again how fragile Aubrie is compared to her peers and how > precarious her future might be. > > Michele w > > > > > Membership of this email support groups does not constitute membership > in the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation. > For information about the CHARGE Syndrome > Foundation or to become a member (and get the newsletter) > please contact marion@... or visit > the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation web page > at http://www.chargesyndrome.org > 7th International > CHARGE Syndrome Conference, Miami Beach, Florida, July 22-24, 2005. > Information will be available at our website > www.chargesyndrome.org or by calling 1-. Guest guest
Yes, I can't stay deluded very long. I realized today that my moods, sleep problems etc may be due to stress and worry even though I hadn't realize it. Truly it's a combination of stress, hormone issues, and poor diet. I'm working on the hormone stuff and figure I'll work on the diet when I see what's left when hormones and stress are resolved. I can deal well with CHARGE when the stress is limited to dr visits and school meetings here and there. But when they are constant with no break in between, then it's harder. I'm thankful that I usually have time off in between issues. I don't know how you guys manage who have constant stress for years. I'm looking forward to a break -- like with the start of the new year, maybe.
