Martha I was diagnosed with IBS with constipation approximately 6 months ago. I was prescribed Zelnorm. It didn't help at all so he put me on Kristalose. It works really good but It is expensive. I bought an elliptical right after Christmas and started exercising 20 minutes every other day. Now I don't need any meds. I found that I can eat anything I want. Yeah. Guest guest Posted February 27, 2004 Report Share Posted February 27, 2004 Martha, I suffer from Colitis/IBS as well as IGAN and since I have been on a restricted diet as recommended by my Neph my symptoms have all but disappeared, it has made a remarkable difference.
