Guest guest
One can see MetroCare's Homepage at: http://www.metrocareems.com/metrocare/ This MetroCare is a Texas company. There are others. When you do a google search you find things that apply to others. For example, there is one hit that contains a thread implying that the company is engaged in some sort of illegal activity. Turns out that's about a company in New York. So be very careful when you research a company on the Net. There may be more than one. The information I have about MetroCare is from people who know them, and they have been around for a long time. Steve Diamond and Butch Holmes are principals in the company. You can find out who the officers are at their website. It appears that they have taken over a number of RuralMetro contracts, but as far as I know the two companies are not related. Guest guest
Metrocare looks like RM because MC bought out the RM operations In Beaumont/ Pt. Arthur a few years back and they got some of there eq. in the deal. Strangely enough, Gold Star EMS was started because AMR pissed off a few of there employees. Look at AMR in Texas now, Look at Gold Star. I think Gold Star won that argument.
Guest guest
The two are not related, there's just a few people that used to work for R/M that now work for MetroCare. The people have stuck together, but the companies are separate.
