Guest guest
HI, I am making cashew yogurt, and I just realized I forgot to add honey... Should I add it now, or just forget about it? Coral SCD 7 weeks
Guest guest
not sure, but if you'vce already made it its too late I think. I think the honey is added for the probiotic to feast upon. Check with Marjan but its prob. no good. > HI, > > I am making cashew yogurt, and I just realized I forgot to add > honey... Guest guest
Hi Coral, I make almond yogurt without the honey (I am sensitive to it). It comes out the same way but it does not have as much probiotics as with honey. this is from customprobiotcs.com site: " ALMOND MILK YOGURT Our yogurt starters can also be used to make almond milk yogurt at high probiotic concentrations. Recently we performed two tests using almond milk with and without honey. The resulting yogurt indicated 350 million probiotic bacteria per gram for the one without honey and 890 million per gram for the one with honey. The bacterial count was performed by an independent laboratory " Monika pecanbread , " cgetino " <cgetino@a...> wrote: > I am making cashew yogurt, and I just realized I forgot to add > honey...
