The recipe section of Pecanbread doesn't list the Macadamia nut

recipe that was mentioned on this list a week or so ago. Somebody

substituted some cashews for Macadamia nuts and gave the quantities.

I wondered if I could also not use cashews and use almonds or

hazelnuts instead. I would appreciate whoever came up with this

yummy yogurt posting the recipe again. Thanks alot,

Beth, I think that was me. I just used the almond yogurt recipe and

subbed cashews. BUT it doesnt have enough fat (watery

consistency) ....so I used 1 cup of cashews and 1/3-1/2 cup of

macadeamias. I used cashews b/c of phenol issues. I expect you can

do whtever you want. The macademia is a very fatty nut however and

I've never made a whole batch with only that nut. I have great

success with 1 cup cashew and 1/2 cup macademia. Hope this helps and

good luck.
