Regardless, I'm a bit old fashioned so I choose to use things that have been

around awhile.

Dang Christel, that was a cheap shot. Haven't you become a bit more old

fashioned in that you question things a little more before you assume they are

good? I also question using a leaf extract in quantities well over what would

be reasonable to eat in nature (stevia). I never felt comfortable giving my

children vaccinations, it didn't feel right, I went against my instincts.

Actually, the current version hasn't been around so long:

" Agave nectar is a newly created sweetener, having been developed during the

1990's. "

===>Yea, Christel, calm down and allow others to express their opinions without ridicule. I did notice during our discussion that you were the only one to use the words "crazy" and other perjorative terms. Graciousness, you can disagree without being disagreeable and condenscending.

As well as a lot of people who promote GFCF,and other diets for autism, who push corn products as a "safe" alternative to gluten.Gluten is nothing compared to corn. Subject: Re: Re: Ketogenic/Atkins Diet - Sleeping ProblemsTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Tuesday, December 15, 2009, 6:50 PM

yes there are sites out there with negitive stuff on it just like anything, look at who puts them out though! it's corn croppers who are pushing corn syrup as the healthy choice!

Re: Ketogenic/Atkins Diet - Sleeping Problems

I've read some things about agave nectar that make it less appealing to me. > >> > Hi All,> > > > My son has been having sleeping problems on a daily basis since 2 years. He> > is 3 1/2 year old. liz it's because its crazy to say some of the comments you have made and assumptions you have made! I am trying to get you to THINK about what you are putting or at least your reasonings on something! (trust me I am VERY antivaccination on EVERY level of them even being OFFERED and I was piosened by the thermoitor myself) stevia was likly used by indians, it's not new either! you must not USE stevia as you don't use much of it. olive leaf extract is used as a natural antibiotic, and you take in WAY more of that for doseing then stevia to sweeten something, anything is going to have negitives and possitives including your precious chelation you think is a cure all for everythign apparently (and I am NOT antichelation, I still plan to do it in our house and recommend it for many) I just don't think it's EVERY childs cause of autism. you have to look at WHO is putting those negitive things out there. I am sure you do that as a cutler fan. there is ALOT of negitive stuff out there on him. but you have to look at the sources of who those people are. stevia is used all the time in diabets, same for agave, and for MANY autistic kids on speical diets with great results. it's not a new product either of them by any means. and the ONLY negitive stuff I have seen on agave is put out by corn dealers trying to get you to switch your use to corn syrup, which we all know carries mercury ect and is likly GMO based these days and not healthy in any way...heck we don't even give our kids meds with it unless it's a life or death situation in our house

I sure hope no one is thinking that I should have the last word on what kind of

sweetener they use. :) I was only saying what I use and why.

I hope people do their own research in regard to metals, viruses, bacteria and

parasites too. My feelings on this are not important, my research is. If I

can't back it up, I am not saying it or I will say " I think " .

I'm not inflexible either, I'm still learning. In fact, I am slowly changing my

tune on mercury's involvement in my son's issues because I'm learning more about

HOW it is involved. I knew aluminum was involved but didn't understand where

mercury fit in the picture. I never blatantly refused its involvement but I did

question it because I didn't understand it.

There were people who responded to my questioning with an irritable tone as if I

shouldn't question it. A person shouldn't feel threatened when questioned if

they know what they are talking about and can back it up.

liz I agree if you can prove that every child wtih autism has metal issues and all people with metal issues have autism that would be fine to say, it's that you DON"T and CAN'T show that, that bothers me. I KNOW There are tons of kids on spectrum that DO have metal issues and can't recover with out addressing them but there are also those that don't as well as those people NOT on spectrum that have metal issues and aren't autistic that shatters that belief to hold fact status. I don't want people to come here and think well my kid had no metals show, therefore he must not have autism and discontinue there search, or think well my kid doesn't have metal issues therfore there is nothing to do to better them, or even worse my kid has metal issues but isn't autistic so I guess who knows.....

putting one thing out as the ONE AND ONLY way to have autism is not just wrong but it chases away people who can be helped with finding out what CAN be their childs underlying issues. mito issues, genes that are mutated and have to compensated for, immune systems that have issues ect. its never so cut and dry this or that, or all our kids would be cured.

liz I agree if you can prove that every child wtih autism has metal issues and all people with metal issues have autism that would be fine to say, it's that you DON"T and CAN'T show that, that bothers me.

I sure hope no one is thinking that I should have the last word on what kind of sweetener they use. :) I was only saying what I use and why. I hope people do their own research in regard to metals, viruses, bacteria and parasites too. My feelings on this are not important, my research is. If I can't back it up, I am not saying it or I will say "I think". I'm not inflexible either, I'm still learning. In fact, I am slowly changing my tune on mercury's involvement in my son's issues because I'm learning more about HOW it is involved. I knew aluminum was involved but didn't understand where mercury fit in the picture. I never blatantly refused its involvement but I did question it because I didn't understand it. There were people who responded to my questioning with an irritable tone as if I shouldn't question it. A person shouldn't feel threatened when questioned if they know what they are talking about and can back it up. sorry for the negitiveity all, I just get SOOO irriated to find people to be so narrow minded that they think it's just one thing to cause autism when our kids all recover differently. there are thousands of recovered kids walking around, and they didn't all get there the same way, meaning they didn't all suffer the same way or get to autism the same way either. there is more then one way to skin a cat!
