YIKES! <a href= " http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGATX05AHVC.html " > click here </a> I still feel that congress should not have the ability to vote a raise in for themselves. No one else can do that in there work place. I also feel that they should have a term limit... It's like the good old boys club and they scratch each others backs... About 4 to 5 years ago there was a committee that did some investigating into the Grants that the government issues. They barely scratched the surface when they found that there were many grants given to companies that didn't even exist. No office, no phone, only a post office drop. It seemed right after that was brought to the publics attention, the committee was disbanded. Geeez, wonder why! Another one is the IRS.... after doing an audit they found the IRS is missing well over 4 million dollars of tax payers money. They also found an off shore account for the higher people.... yet, that also was dropped because the IRS said they would investigate it. To date, they still have not retrieved the money but went after more people to collect money. Corrupt? You bet! With the use of the Internet more and more people are becoming involved in what is taking place in todays society. Emailing your congressman is a great way to let them know what you think of the job they're doing. It's become so much easier for people to become involved. Ok, I'll get off my soap box now...
