Guest guest
, Thanks for remembering. Yes today was another follow up appt and guess what? From last Monday that it was 7,000 something, today was 500. Isn't that Great. The doctor told me that it magnificantly went down. My next appt is next Monday. He said we need to meet every week until it goes to O. I was scared thinking they had to perform surgery. Thank God they don't have to. One thing though, is that i am in such pain it is not even funny. He said that that was normal he told me when i have a lot of pain to take Extra Strength Tynelol. I have been taking Advils. He said as long as the pain relieves after taking medication it is a good sign but if the pain still continues after i take medication then he said to call him. I just took one advil (200mm) and it is now 10:30 and i still feel the pain. The pain feels as if something was stretching my abdominals parts. Like cramps but real bad cramps. Thanks again for asking. Emperus..

Guest guest
Emperus, I don't know about you but Extra Strength, Regular Strength...Tylenol doesn't do squat for me. Never has. Advil will work if I take large quantities. (No, I don't do this on a regular basis, just when I have a particularly nasty headache. Usually four will do the trick.) I hope your pain goes away and your numbers drop. I'll be thinking about you! ((((HUGS)))),

Guest guest
Emperus, I would think depending on what type of surgery you had for your ep would depend on when you can fool around. I am sure its anywhere between two weeks and a month. I would check with your dr. The Basal body temp is different on every women. What you do is take your temp everyday. When there is a jump in your temp you have ovulated. All BBT does is tells you if you have ovulated or not. A great book to buy is Take Charge of Your Fertility. It explains how to chart wether its for ttc or avoiding pg. Pam

Guest guest
I would try sitz baths--sit in warm water for 10 minutes or so a few times a day. You could add baking soda to the water, but I wouldn't try any medicine for yeast unless you truly know what's going on. Hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Thanks Joleen. I hope I don't get pregnant again i just had my first EP and I am scare although i am not protecting myself, I hope i don't pregnant again. We are not using any protection. We are using the rythm method, i think that's the one that he pulls out before he comes. I was thinking if there is a high risk for someone to get pregnant using this method. Guest guest
When you are pregnant, no matter where the pregnancy is located, you do not shed your uterine lining. At the end of nine months, you have nine months of built up lining to get rid of. With an ectopic, no matter how early, your lining builds up more than usual because of pregnancy hormones. The lining needs to be shed completely and sometimes it over does it after pregnancy, especially if you've received methotrexate. Most RE's want your lining to be at least 8mm thick to conceive. If it isn't at least that thick, an embryo can have trouble implanting, or staying implanted. Hope that makes sense. For what it's worth, one doctor told me I could try again when my hcg levels are zero, but another told me I had to wait. Now I don't know what I'll want to do.
