I'm so happy for you Cassy! I'm doing ok, I sort of figured it would be

PPMS, just a bit mad it is I suppose, but I'm dealing:) good luck catching

Im sorry it is PPMS. Are you very ill right now? Have your symptoms

increased?When did you see the doc? I know it isnt something easy to

hear that it is PPMS but you sound very strong and will make it

through. We are all here for you. Take care k.

I don't feel ill, I don't look ill, just don't walk very well, so use

crutches to guide me, and the knee is a lot of that problem as well, for

which now I have to get a brace to keep it from hyperextending. I am going

to try to go back to work on the 17th. I saw the doc this afternoon, I sort

of expected it to be PPMS, I will make it through Cassy, don't have a choice

do I? One thing I decided the day I was told it might be MS, was that MS

wouldn't control me, I'll control it, so hopefully I can:)

Connie, I love that you have such a positive attitude. Like they say

I may have ms but ms dosnt have me. I dont have ms but at one point

thought so and the doc thought I had Devics disease,which is like ms

but more severe in attacks. I love this group so much I have stayed. I

have alot of ms types symptoms though. Take care k.

Casy, are we any closer to a DX of any kind??? I am so happy for you to have the SS part over!!! You should get a letter from SS in less then a month saying something about what to expect now. Have you been fighting for it long, when did you originally apply?? Cause they owe you back pay for all that time. I am so excited for you!!!

Hi !Well,I was dxd with an autonomic nervous system disease but

not exactly sure which one it is yet.The not so serious ones are ruled

out but now my cardio thinks I may have a rare muscle disease so if

thats the case maybe it causes autonomic dysfunction and i dont have 1

of the bad autonomic nerrvous diseases on top of a muscle disease.That

would be to rare!Never know though.I was also dxd with Peripheral(sp?)

neuropathy,and Trigmenal neuralgia,and I also have a blind spot in my

right eye.

I just applied for ssi and ssdi in dec. But if im approved for ssdi

they said back pay could go as far back as my disability in

03.(doubtful)but i guess ssi only pays for up to a yr. Of back pay. Im

hoping to get a decent amount but not counting on it.lol.We can use any

amount of $ right now so I will be happy about any amount. How long

after approval does it usualy take to get a check or backpay?

too.lol.lol. But hers is squeeky clean! I know there is alot of stuff

she wont put on there. Her mom checks her page out. For awile she

wouldnt let her dad be her friend cuz she didnt want him to see her

page.lol. She said she didnt want him to see all her stuff,especially

her boyfriend! Lol.ol. But finally she accepted him and we went on and

Good for you on the exercises! What do you mean lost out on your

foot? Did it go out on you? I miss exercising. I dont get much. Im

only able to do some stretches and real simple pt type exercises. Most

of them are laying down.lol. I guess there not much of an exercise.lol.

Back from Social Security docs!

Hey Guys!Well,went to my appts with the Social security docs.They both

said that there is no way I could work.The psych said I have major

depression and my short term memory is bad (duh!lol)and it is its own

disability.Meaning if I wernt physically disabled I would still be

considered disabled with the depression.The neuro exam was a lil more

intense.He did a big workup and went to look up the autonomic nervous

system disease.Then he says its not a dx but jus a name when things go

funky.So had to answer all his questions and show him some of the

records I have.Told him they said the autonomic thing is my dx along

with all my other crap and im also being worked up for muscle
