I am interested in having an MGB but I can't find anyone where I am (Massachusetts) who is doing them (by laparoscopy). I know I qualify. Then there are insurance issues to deal with too. I am curious - are you having any negative side effects from the surgery? Nausea? Gas? etc. Did your wound heal well? I think this list is a great idea also. I would like to hear information directly from the people on the other side of the operatig table like you who are living with the surgery after on a day to day basis. I'm preparing for Dr. Rutledge's procedure and you were one of my contacts, we spoke a couple of weeks ago. I'm still waiting for approval from my insurance. We should be hearing soon. I'm really anxious and can't stop hoping each day that I hear something. I'm so glad you're doing so well. It's nice to have so many of Dr. Rutledge's patients speak so highly of him and the surgery.
