Guest guest
" I'm 32, so I can wait a little bit, but I don't want to have a baby past 35, if I can help it. " What about postponing the amalgam removal till after the baby is born and after breastfeeding? After I had my 3rd son, I decided that my filling should get out. I had about 10 also. I now know that removal needs to be done with great care. My dentist just drilled them out - put composite in and that was it. I remember that after about 2 months after the removal, my hair started falling out in patches big time. This has always happened after getting a filling in the past and so it happened now after removal. The hair loss was temporary, but not a nice experience since I lost a lot of hair. After about 6 to 7 months, I felt better, my energy came back and after cutting out sweets, cookies, soda and other 'junk', I feel like I am 20 instead of 40. Guest guest
Hi, Just my humble opinion on this one…I have 2 sons. My youngest has autism. He was never vaccinated, and neither he nor I have ever been fish eaters. When he was about 2 (before he was diagnosed), I had my mercury fillings removed. One was cracking a tooth, and the others were just old and I had read about the dangers of mercury so I wanted them all out. My son was diagnosed with autism at age 3 ½ and we had a hair analysis done and he showed a significant amount of mercury in his hair. My only guess is that he got the mercury from my amalgam fillings leaking while I was pregnant and/or nursing him. I would not intentionally get pregnant with mercury fillings in my mouth. My oldest son is fine, so whether it was just that my fillings had gotten old enough to start leaking when I had my second son, or whatever it was, I wouldn’t want to take any chances. Just my experience, Liberty " Don't curse the darkness . . . Light a candle instead. " pregnancy, mercury from fillings I am considering having another baby (in about a year) and have been on SCD for 9 months. I also wanted to get my amalgems removed, (I have 10), but just found out it's going to cost over $6000! (Gotta make the money first.) I've heard the detox takes at least a year. For all you mothers, would you suggest becoming mercury free (and being on the diet longer, of course), before conceiving? I've had 2 healthy girls, but my oldest (6) has been complaining lately of belly aches after certain foods (sometimes wheat based, sometimes cream), but it's inconsistent, and of course, I am worried. They are on about 85% SCD. I have CD, by the way, and I still need to wean off of my medications slowly, so I know I'm jumping the gun. I just am the type of person who likes to have everything planned. (And, oh, the baby cravings are getting hard ovulation time! I'm 32, so I can wait a little bit, but I don't want to have a baby past 35, if I can help it.
