Guest guest
Good Morning everyone! Yesterday I slept off and on all day long then went to bed around 7:00pm back up at 9:pm and back to bed again at 10:pm. What a night. ***Because of your lungs, you probably aren't getting enough oxygen in your cells to deal effectively with the lactic acid.*** You could be right... My lungs function fine just walking normal a short distance but ask them to do something a little and they tighten up. ***The SAMe is without a doubt helping me, and 2 other excellent supplements for you just might be CQ10 and L-carnitine. CQ10*** Funny you mentioned those two, they were on my list... couldn't remember the names to save my soul at Costco's. ***I can vouch for the MSM as well.*** This is one I still haven't done any research on. But, I will. ***Obviously the muscle damage you have is the most important factor, it seems. The less muscle tissue you have, the fewer calories it will burn up.*** Wow .. now that makes sense to me! ***You may even need a lot of extra protein to help repair muscles that may not be permanently damaged and to keep the muscle you have working properly.*** I do believe this is why I crave proteins so much. ***Maybe, instead of trying to walk 20 minutes at a time, cut it down to 5. Yes, 5 minutes at a time, then rest.*** My problem is, if I walk 5 minutes and rest that means I have to sit down somewhere and there is no where I can do this.... If I stop and I'm tired I might fall... This coming spring I'm going to place my lawn chairs out in the field so I can sit down when I get tired. I'm sure my horses will love that...lol ***I'm sure you've talked to your doctors about this lack of energy a great deal. Do they really, really know how awful it is for you and how much help you need in that department?*** They do know... but he feels it's another thing that will work it's way out and to keep trying to take my walks. I am going to ask my lung doctor next visit. ***Interesting about your neighbor! It does sound so familiar.*** She hasn't called me so I'm not sure what her exact symptoms are. I'll let you know if she calls. Take care, Vicki
