This is not an ignorant question at all. Prayer shawls are for any religion. Or if you are not a believer they can be called comfort shawls. We don't discriminate. We say some prayers wile making them and include some when we send the shawl. If you do not believe in God then we don't send the prayers.

hi,i know this sounds ignorant (coming from another rabid, but oh so curious member of this forgiving group, i hope!), but what religion are the prayeer shawls for? it's so interesting what a variety of topics this group covers! it's great for an almost shut-in. i feel so energized after a session here. thanks all.

I LOVE the prayer cloth for the Soldiers. Is this the same group who does the shawls? Prayer Shawl Ministry, was it? I know I have the link saved. How do you get involved with such things? And is it that the cloths are sent to one person who then sends them to the Soldiers, or is it each person send a bunch? Or are they sent to individual Soldiers?? Lots of questions I have.

I'm so glad Chuck is doing better. You had to be very worried about him.
