Guest guest
Hi Zinara Wow, I'm impressed with your doctors for being so quick in diagnosing you. I agree with the others, that's so very unusual. Sometimes it takes years. Tell me, were you taking any other medication that might have caused the hike in your CPK? Your right, everyone that has this disease has a different experience with it. Different the way it comes on, how it affects the body, some have pain while others don't. Everyone is different and that also includes how the drugs work on them also. Did you feel any weakness or soreness in your muscles before Christmas, I mean before the morning you woke up feeling sore? You're on a low dose of Prednisone so you'll be spared all the fullness in the face that most of us have had. Your doctor caught it in the early stages and that's very good. In this disease, time is of the essence. The longer it takes to get diagnosed, the longer for recovery. It will take time to get back to normal again so just take it easy, rest and let the drugs do there thing. You'll have to make sure you stay healthy, with no stress, and you'll be fine. Hope you have a great day. Take care, Vicki
