And, the clinic I go to feels it's too much of a burden for them. It wouldn't be, they say, if the drugs were sent directly to the doctor but in that clinic, ALL mail is sent to one location, sorted, then put on a cart and hand carried to the dept... then it's sorted again by doctor. In the past, things have gotten lost and they are afraid that someone might pick up the drugs. I certainly can understand this. But, that still leaves me with no drugs... I'll find a way to get them. My doctor yesterday was very upset when I told him that HealthNet won't pay for brand named drugs... Most of all the drugs they use are brand name because they deal with new drugs on the market.
