Guest guest
This is news to me. Have you called the BEM number in Austin and asked someone like Quiroz? Jane Hill ----------
Guest guest
That rumor is not true. We're continuing to print and mail certifications twice a week. We've mailed out over 1200 certifications/licenses (may include a few duplicate IDs) since March 1st and expect to have five or six more mail outs this month. March is a busy month for the National Registry because it's their common expiration date, but I haven't noticed a slower than ususal turnaround in their EMT-basic score submissions to us. So, I'm not sure of the origin of this rumor. Our staffing is re-approaching the pre-September 2003 numbers (the state retirement incentive took a few folks) and we don't anticipate any significant delays in routine turnaround in the near future (knock wood). Guest guest
So you folks are getting to fill all the lost positions again? Ron Re: Is TDH holding up certifications? That rumor is not true. Guest guest
As it stands, we're getting to post and re-fill the certification processing staff positions we lost in August. The bureau's overall staffing, statewide, is another story, and as you probably know, the final effects of the agency's reorganization are yet unknown. > > Today I was told that TDH is not issuing any new certifications > until > > the first of April.
