Guest guest
how much drilling was involved? how hot do you think the amalgam around the drill bit got? maybe its better to wait until there is only minimal drilling needed to remove the filling and in the meantime take supplements to induce the Metallothionein protien? /message/56958 enzymes will give amino acids, zinc manganese and seleneomethionine seem to be what is needed. (ALSO BORON in my opinion) i really don't like that staring into specs of dust, thats mercury going straight to the brain. did he run water over the filling as he drilled and suck air from around the filling? if hes not doing that you may be getting as much mercury during removal as you would from erosion of the filling until it became loose. i am sorry you are feeling like this. --- In @y..., " Minna Mettinen " <minna.mettinen@s...> wrote: > > Subject: started amalgam removal... and now.... > > > am not feeling so weel. > > today, 1st molar amalgam removed. > took selenium, vit. Guest guest
You should inform your dentists and diplomatically fill him in on the Huggin's or IAOMT type precausions. Even if all precausions are followed you can still get sick if you are mercury toxic, so it's more appropriate to blaim the mercury not the dentist. Also, increasing your Vit C might help a bit. I went from 4 g a day to 6 g and felt better. I take 1.5 g four times a day and weigh 200 lb. Flax oil also helps. Finally, a bit of activated charcoal 15 minutes before and right after the dental work might help pass the mercury through your system without too much absorption. I did this, not sure it helped, but I don't think it hurt. Also, rise out your mouth a bit after the dental work and change your clothes. Launder the clothes you wore to the dentists asap. - in Alhambra --- In @y..., " Minna Mettinen " <minna.mettinen@s...> wrote: > > Subject: started amalgam removal... and now.... > > > am not feeling so weel. > > today, 1st molar amalgam removed. > took selenium, vit. (ALSO BORON in my opinion)*** will go next time to town 25th. will go look for boron. ***i really don't like that staring into specs of dust, thats mercury going straight to the brain.*** that problem is better now this morning. infact all of the problems isbetter this morning. certainly was a crappy feeling yesterday. was worried that will now feel like that ALL the time until able to chelate. but the improvement in how am feeling this morning is welcome. Do you think that didnt start the selenium early enough prior to the mercury removal... seems that since had thought that it was good for binding the mercury while it is coursing through the body, decided to start it yesterday morning, while the appointment was at noon. perhaps not early enough? perhaps not enough either? dont know. any suggestions? start selenium couple of days prior OR just keep taking it all the time now? since have appointments for the removal each month, once or twice a month. ***did he run water over the filling as he drilled and suck air from around the filling?*** yes. water, lots of water, lots of suction. ***i am sorry you are feeling like this.*** thank you. was sorry too yesterday. lol BUT this morning, noticing that am feeling better, and the staring problem is really subsided now totally, am satisfied with the short term nature of these reactions. joints feel good again, as well as the long bones. although the barometer is dropping, a general sign for downward health, pre: enzymes. and here am, getting ready to transplant some flowers, for the new summer coming ahead. minna " Where are you going to be standing when the revolution comes? Guest guest
selenium(selneomethionine) is involved in a lot of beneficial stuff in the body, so for maximuim effect it has to work its way through various chains of synthesis. my advice would be to take at least 100mcg daily and only stopping if you are thinking that you are getting into the toxicty area with it. i don't think that can happen on 100mcg but u never know. i think that taking it is the single biggest thing u can do to help with mercury toxicty. maybe you would take 100mcg every day and when you are having fillings removed u might go up to 200mcg? for a couple of days? seleneomethionine boron zinc and msm really did something for me, i am not quite sure what. maybe selenium and boron work together to do something, i don't know. > Do you think that didnt start the selenium early enough prior to the mercury removal... seems that since had thought that it was good for binding the mercury while it is coursing through the body, decided to start it yesterday morning, while the appointment was at noon. perhaps not early enough? perhaps not enough either? dont know. any suggestions? start selenium couple of days prior OR just keep taking it all the time now? since have appointments for the removal each month, once or twice a month. wow, glad you are recovering. Guest guest
Huggins has a book entitled " It's All in Your Head " . Reading it convinced me I had mercury poisoning. I do not agree with all he says but the book provides valuable info.
