Guest guest
Hi -- Thanks for commenting on making the frozen coconut yogurt. How did you make the yogurt with the young green coconuts from Coleen's recipe on ANDI-ADI. I have been trying for months to make a good coconut yogurt! Thanks for any tips! , Mom to Brett, 4 1/2 ASD, SCD 6 mths
Guest guest
I believe when probiotic and yogurt are frozen or cooked the good bugs lose their viability. Why do you think SCD tells you to cook your veggies and fruits at the beginning. It only takes a basic understanding of plants to know that WE MUST SOFTEN THE CELL WALLS BY COOKING at the beginning of treatment for these gut problems. If we do not do this, the injured gut will not be able to " milk " out the sugars, proteins and fats within the cells of fruits and veggies and all this energy will feed bacteria instead of the patients. It is only common sense and a basic understanding of the cell walls of the plant kingdom. Carol F.
