Literally just this weekend came to grips with the strong possibility (99% sure) that my 2 year old boy has autism - eye contact, stimming, poor language, not socially engaged, y'all know the deal. As cheesy as it sounds, I salute all you brave men and women that are doing so much to help their children and I can't express how thankful I am that I ran across Stan Kurtz's website and videos. I've made an appointment with Dr.Compart in Columbia, MD, does anyone have any experience with her? And aside from this group, Stan Kurtz's website, and Generation Rescue, what are the most important resources you know of? Open-ended question, I know, but please contribute what you can. God bless and thanks for sharing, I've already learned so much.
