Uttar Pradesh: Invitation for the Magh Mela

Greetings from UPNP+!!

We Uttar Pradesh Welfare for People Living with HIV/AIDS Society

(UPNP+) is a community based organisation and work for the dignity of

PLHA and stigma free envoirment in Uttar Pradesh.

UPNP+ conduct Magh Mela HIV/AIDS awareness campaign every year in Magh

mela area Sangam, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh for reaching the goal of

HIV/AIDS mainstreaming in general population and disseminate right

information regarding HIV/AIDS for reducing stigma and discrimination.

We organizing awareness campaign in Mela area for " build the capacity

of PLHAs and motivate them for effective participation in prevention

of HIV roll-out program in India. "

This year " UPNP+ Sewa Dal " is going to start awareness activities from

13th January, 09 to 29th January, 09 at Khakh Chowk, Sangam Lower

Marg, Sector-3, (Near Dadda Ji Camp.), Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.

In continuation, UPNP+ Sewa Dal organize a silent rally on the theme

of " WE LIVE A HEALTHIER LIFE, WE PREVENT NEW HIV INFECTIONS " from our

camp to Sangam on 18th January, 09 at 2:00 pm in the presence of

spiritual Saint Sri Murari Das Ji (Rishikesh, Haridwar).

We humble request to you participate on this great occasion. Your

participation will be definitely encourage and motivate us. This

awareness rally help us advocates our issues to judiciary,

legislative, media, spiritual Saints and administration at state and

central level.
