Various Staff Vacancies with Positive Women Network (PWN+)

- the voice of women living with HIV and AIDS and HIV affected children in India

Women living with HIV/AIDS and Women (especially in difficult circumstances) are

particularly encouraged to apply

Advocacy Officer (full-time, 1 year)

Location: Delhi

Key responsibilities: Coordinate the entire activities of the network with the

support of the advocacy team at PWN+’s national office based in Chennai ;

Provide support for state level women’s networks in the area of advocacy;

networking with national and state government departments; Advocacy for change

for WLHA and CIA/CAA friendly policies and programmes; advocacy plan;

development of IEC materials; research on policies and programmes; directory of

national level programmes; project reporting; Supporting implementation of

national level; Supporting fundraising; Supporting forward strategy; Supporting

monitoring and evaluation; Skills sharing with state teams especially Rajasthan

team.

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential:

· Prior experience in advocacy and a solid understanding of advocacy

practices

· Proven track record of successful management

· Good communication skills, with officials, staff and community

· Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft programs and Internet)

· Command of English and Hindi language (spoken and written)

· Willingness and enthusiasm to work with a team and spearhead projects

without assistance

· Willingness to travel to other states

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

· Woman living with HIV or women from difficult circumstances

· Prior experience with NGO/advocacy organization

· University degree in Business, Social Work, Management or a similar

subject and/or equivalent experience as a manager

State Coordinator (full-time, 1 year)

Location: Delhi

Key responsibilities: Building partnerships with key stakeholders; Documenting

schemes and programmes at state level; Research of schemes and programmes at

state level; Networking with government officials; Advocacy ; Awareness raising

of WLHA & CIA/CAA; Capacity building for training for WLHA; Development IEC

materials; monitoring and evaluation; Case studies documentation; Represent PWN+

at external events; Staff Management.

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential:

· Proven track record of successful management

· Good communication skills, with officials, staff and community

· Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft programs and Internet)

· Prior experience with NGO/advocacy organization

· Command of English and Hindi language (spoken and written)

· Willingness and enthusiasm to work with a team and spearhead projects

without assistance

· Willingness to travel to other states

Accountant (full-time, 1 year)

Location: Delhi

Key responsibilities: Maintain all the accounts system of the offices in Delhi

and Rajasthan. Documentation and reporting to the higher authorities; Verifying

and preparing cash/cheque payment vouchers for the requests received or the

expenditure incurred or receipts; Dispatching funds correctly to the state and

districts for the projects.

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential:

· Prior experience in finance and a solid understanding of financial

practices

· Proven track record of successful management

· Good communication skills

· Computer knowledge (Microsoft programs, Tally and Internet)

· Command of English and Hindi language (spoken and written)

· Willingness and enthusiasm to work with a team and spearhead projects

without assistance

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

· Woman living with HIV or women from difficult circumstances

· University degree in Business, Economics, Management or a similar subject

and/or equivalent experience

· Prior experience with NGO/charity
