Call for applications for various positions under INP+/UNDP -  GIPA

Mainstreaming Project

 

The Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+) is an ISO 9001:2000

Certified CBO organization of PLHIV. Its Mission is to improve the quality of

life of People Living with HIV/AIDS with focus on three critical areas:

advocacy, network building, and service delivery.

 

Selected candidates will be required to join within one month of selection. Only

short listed candidates will be notified for personal interview.

 

(1) National Capacity Building Officer

Responsibilities:

1.  Develop and undertake a training needs assessment of state/district network

2.  Develop and implement a capacity building plan based on the training needs

3.  Design and organize skill and capacity building workshop at the state and

district level

4.  Develop training materials with the support and inputs for the program

officer and project manager in SLN

5.  Organize and facilitate sessions during workshops and training

6.  Prepare workshop reports and documentation

7.  Develop mechanism for evaluation of quality and effectiveness of trainings

given

8.  Any other activity INP+ deemed fit to be carried out to intensify the

project implementation as and when required

 

Desired experience/ skills:

1.  Minimum post graduate degree in social work with at least FIVE years of

experience in training and capacity building

2.  Strong communication (oral & written) skills in Hindi and English

3.  Report writing, documentation and dissemination skills

4.  Computer skills and Collaborative working style

5.  Experience in conducting trainings and workshops; working as a team

6.  PLHIV will be given preference

 

Compensation: INR 25,000. However, offers shall be based on relevant experience

and qualifications.

 

Job Location: New Delhi and Pune

 

(2) State Capacity Building Officer

Responsibilities:

2. Develop and implement a capacity building plan based on the training needs

3.  Design and organize skill and capacity building workshop at the state and

district level

4.  Develop training materials with the support and inputs for the program

officer and project manager in SLN

5.  Organize and facilitate sessions during workshops and training

6.  Prepare workshop reports and documentation

7.  Develop mechanism for evaluation of quality and effectiveness of trainings

8.  Any other activity INP+ deemed fit to be carried out to intensify the

project implementation as and when required

Desired experience/ skills:

Job Location: Orissa, Chattisgarh and Bihar

 

 

(3) State Accountant

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare the consolidated monthly accounts statement of state

2.  Review the fund utilization at the project level and provide feedback to the

state and district level networks

3.  Prepare monthly financial report

4. Oversees the travel arrangements of the project staff at the state level

network

5.  Maintains the financial systems and fillings

6.  Maintains the vouchers and other relevant documents pertaining to the

project

7.  Point person for logistic arrangements for any trainings and workshops

organized

8.  Collates and compiles all the state level monthly financial report and share

the consolidated financial report to INP+

9.  Report to the Finance Manager on all project related financial issues

10. Manage and maintain books of accounts for the project at the national level

11. Compile monthly financial report for the project including reports from the

state and district level’

12. Carry out bank duties

13.  Any other activity INP+ deemed fir to be carried out to intensify the

project implementation as and when required

Desired experience/ skills:

1.  Minimum a degree in Commerce with at least one year of experience in

relevant area

2.  A sound knowledge on computer with having expertise of Tally

3.  Applicant should have an appropriate knowledge of FCRA and other account

based information.

4.  Computer skills and Collaborative working style

5.  PLHIV will be given preference

 

Compensation: INR 10,000. However, offers shall be based on relevant experience

and qualifications.

 

Job Location: Orissa, Chattisgarh and Bihar

 

 

(4) State GIPA Coordinator (Only for PLHIV)

Key responsibilities:

1.  State point person for advocacy concerning PLHIV issues with Stakeholders

2. Facilitate the formation of the state GIPA Task Force in coordination with

stakeholders and INP+

3.  Facilitate Technical Assistance (TA) at the state level on key issues

including access to treatment and positive prevention to shape evidence-based

HIV policies and programs that are guided by GIPA principles

4.  Organize need based meetings for the task-force in consultation with the

Project Manager of INP+.

5.  Submission of monthly descriptive report to the Project Manager of INP+,

Chennai

Desired experience/ skills:

1.  Minimum a graduate degree with at least TWO years of working experience in

HIV field

2.  Strong communication (oral & written) skills in the local language and

English

3. Report writing, documentation and dissemination skills

4.  Computer skills and Collaborative working style

 

Compensation: INR 15,000. However, offers shall be based on relevant experience

and qualifications.

Job Location: Orissa, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan

 

 

(5) District GIPA Coordinator (Only for PLHIV)

Key responsibilities:

1.  District point person for advocacy concerning PLHIV issues with Stakeholders

2.  Facilitate the formation of the state GIPA Task Force in coordination with

stakeholders, SLN and INP+

3.  Facilitate Technical Assistance (TA) at the district level on key issues

including access to treatment and positive prevention to shape evidence-based

HIV policies and programs that are guided by GIPA principles

4.  Organize need based meetings for the task-force in consultation with the SLN

and INP+

5.  Submission of monthly descriptive report to SLN and INP+

Desired experience/ skills:

1.  Minimum 12th std with at least ONE year of working experience in HIV field

and age above 21 years

2.  Strong communication (oral & written) skills in the local language and

English

3.  Report writing, documentation and dissemination skills

 

Compensation: INR 7,000 However, offers shall be based on relevant experience

and qualifications

 

Job Location: Orissa (Anugul, Bolanigr, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Baleswar and Khurda),

Chattisgarh (Durg, Korba and Raipur), Bihar (Araria, Lakhisarai, Katihar, Purba

Champaran and Sitamarhi), Uttar Pradesh (Banda, Deoria, Etawah, Mau and

Moradabad) and Rajasthan (Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur)

 

 

(6) District Social Worker

Key responsibilities:

1.  To provided counseling of PLHIV and their families including women and

children

2.  To maintain and update the counseling records and share the same on time of

M & E undertaken by SLN and INP+

3.  To provide referrals to other sources for specialized treatment

4. To organize monthly support group meeting and document the same

5.  Prepare monthly progress report of the project and share the same with SLN

and INP+

Desired experience/ skills:

1. Minimum graduate with at least ONE year of working experience in HIV field

2.  Strong communication (oral & written) skills in the local language and

English

3.  Report writing, documentation and dissemination skills

4.  PLHIV will be given preference

 

Compensation: INR 7,000. However, offers shall be based on relevant experience

and qualifications. Selected candidates will be required to join within one

month of selection. Only short listed candidates will be notified.
