Benadryl is the first thing that worked but left me groggy all day and makes my joints ache. Trazadone is supposed to work on 2nd stage but just gave me an awful headache that lasted all day. Insurance won't pay for Ambien, might try for the generic, but can't take that with temazepam which is supposed to stop waking.
