Guest guest
Well if you buy it from a coffee shop already made it will have some sort of artificial sweetner. I buy the green tea chai tea in the bags separately and steep it myself. There is no sugar that I'm aware of. And stevia is all natural. You can find it in most health food stores and it's potent so you don't have to use as much as you do with refined sugar. And honey that hasn't been through any process is good for you. There are loads of health benefits from honey. It raises antioxidant levels which fight cancer heart disease and other diseases, it has antimicrobial effects, enhances calcium absorption and helps with loads of digestion problems. And if your sick it soothes sore throats and helps with cough. If it's natural I'm all for it. I'm like you even though I like my choc. I try and do good when ever I can. saxony01 <saxony01@...> wrote: MMmmmmmmmmmmmmI wonder how I could sneak a little Cardamom into everything! ), . . . seriously, I've looked at Chai tea. . . but the sugar content turns me off. . . . I'm not going to use artificial sweetener either . . . Is it possible to drink it without it?Rogene Re: ice storms Well I take Airborne and it's loaded with vit, min, and herbs including echinacea to strengthen your immune system. I took one in water before I went to bed and I feel much better this morn. Plus the green tea I drink has echinacea, and siberian ginseng so as long as I keep flushing it out hopefully it won't take hold but I think this 75 degree weather for a week and now back to 50 and below probably does the worse damage because your body can't maintain homeostasis. Oh and I had recently read that Chai tea is also good for colds and the immune system. Here is some info about it. If some of the girls don't drink it they may want to start. You can also put milk in it too to make like a latte. I always like to use vanilla soymilk for mine but you can make it plain too and sweeten with honey or stevia. Popularized in India, chai tea is a great source of antioxidants and digestive-aiding nutrients. Often served with heavy milk and honey, chai teas can be served hot or cold. Traditional blends are a mixture of sweet and zesty spices like cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves. Each of these ingredients helps make chai tea healthy and good for you. Cinnamon, scientifically known as cinnamon zelyanicum, is an herb that acts as a stimulant to other herbs. It helps boost their power to make them more effective and absorbent in your body. A catalyst of sorts, cinnamon increases the benefits you receive from every cup of chai tea you drink. Cinnamon also contains salicylates, which help fight pain and bad bacteria in your body. Ginger works to help reinforce your body's immune system. Potent and strong, ginger contains nutrients that can heal your digestive system, soothe a sore throat, relieve motion sickness, and even ease body aches. Cloves aid in invigorating your body's natural heater to help keep you warm in times of cold weather or when suffering from a head cold. Cardamom is known for giving you clarity by soothing mucous membranes and aiding in curing sexual dysfunction. saxony01 <saxony01 (DOT) com> wrote: ,Are you loading up on Echinacea? And as soon as I got to work I fixed me a cup of green tea chai tea this morning. And need to fix another cup. But of course my back is still killing me. Guest guest
B ~ This is so kewl, I am a avid rock and artifact hunter, I just have been to ill this last year to do it. I just love it tho. Even with the lupus, and when I feel bad, you ask me to go, and I will push myself best I can. It is in my element to be out there. I have a huge coral brainrock, that is what I was told it was. It weighs 75-100 lbs. It is all christal like now. It is really really kewl, I have never seen anything like it. Guest guest
I don't have any big rocks yet. I'm hoping to find some in the deeper water next year.Lupus stops you from going out at times? I'm not familiar with lupus symptoms. Guest guest
I am going to bring them to work on Monday and mail them from the post office there. I will make a few pairs of earrings this weekend. Are there any particular colors you like to wear, or outfits you don't have earrings for? Also, do you prefer silver, gold, or silver/gold combos? When you first see these rocks, you're going to think, "B goes to extremes to hunt for THESE?" But run them under water, or put them in a glass bowl filled with water, and then look at them. Wow! That's part of what I think makes them so great- they're easily overlooked (when dry) unless people know what they're looking for, but they have hidden beauty that is easily drawn out by water.Petoskey hunting is so addictive. If you ever feel ready for a cold, prickly, hypothermia-charged rock hunt, Lake Michigan is definitely your ideal destination. Staying alive in fifty degree water long enough to find the rocks is half the battle. Also, I got stung by a bee last year while I was doing it. My finger swelled up huge, and it continued to hurt for over a month afterward, which I read over and over should not have been the case. I'm sensitive to everything! Guest guest
I could send you way more than a small one.Yes, the design is throughout. As a matter of fact, my husband and I are considering chopping up a bunch of the ones I've collected and using them as home-made tile around the new fireplace. I've literally got hundreds of these things, and some are fairly large, so we've got plenty for that if we decide to do it.The smaller ones are sometimes much prettier than the larger ones. I can send you a bunch of small ones- too small for fireplace use, but would be PERFECT in jewelry. People here polish them to get the pattern to stay visible (vs. keeping the stone wet)Send me your address! I'm going to the post office on Monday to send some to Dede.
