Guest guest
Hello, I just received the results of my (2.6 yo) son's blood test. The doctor said everything was fine except that his levels of iron were low (s-fe = 53) and also that his ferritine levels were also low (13.5). I was more concerned with his vit A levels, but the doctor told me that at 93iu he was within normal limits. However, what was interesting, but I don' know how relevant, was that the retinal-binding protein that carries the vit A was low at 2.1 mg; normal being 2.5-8.0 Does these results give me any clues? Any help interpreting this would be gratefully received. Tried megson.com, but couldn't' t find much. Thanks Barry Japan
