Guest guest Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 Ok, after a month of beating my brains out trying to get down to Philly, he up and moves in with Mike in Hagerstown (Md.) So, I have decided to:Stand my ground! By him moving (again) he has not only continued to prove his lack of stability, he has also reset the residency clock, while I continue to hold the advantage here, being fully *in* the local system. So, since I still have to move (by Fri) I got the ball rolling to get long-term housing here for Robbin and I, and the next move will to be emergency family court for custody, followed right after by enrolling him in school (thereby making it so much more difficult for Mr. Itchy-toes to up and take him on a whim). As they say in Tennis: Advantage home court. I have also suggested to *her* (since she is still in contact with Rob) that Rob might think about getting an apartment *here* (since he now has no real home) where it will be easier for us to co-parent, and Robbin will have us both near. But the divorce WILL go on, his latest actions have made sure of that! *she* answered that she will "STRONGLY suggest" that to Rob next time they talk (an apartment here). Hugs to all..
