Guest guest
I made a cheesecake last week that was so-so. I desperately wanted cherries for them, you know the atomic red, corn syrupy ones. LOL I tried some cooked down frozen blueberries, but they just didn't do it for me. I found some frozen Cascadian farms brand organic cherries at Whole foods on Friday and cooked them down with a little honey last night. I have finished the rest of the cheesecake and all the cherries; it was so good! It was a small bag and a bit pricey at nearly $3, but worth it to not have to pit a bunch of fresh cherries. They're the dark purple kind too and were much less tart than I thought they'd be, though I like my cheesecake cherries a bit tart. So if you're in need for cherries for your cheesecake, check these out!
