Thank you for contacting Larry at Kirkman's. Looks like Kirkman's new

probiotic formulation may be ok even though there is a corn

derivative in it. I guess every parent can decide on their own. I

will copy Larry's response to CK2.

What are the bacterial strains in the product? I thought it had

bifidus which Elaine doesn't want us to use because it has a tendancy

to overgrow. I could be wrong, but just want to clarify that even

though the corn issue may be resolved - I'm still thinking this

product is not " SCD legal " . Of course, if parents still want to use

it - that is absolutely their choice.

You are correct. The product seems to be free of di- and

polysaccharides, but it is not actually legal because it contains

strains of bacteria that are not recommended by Elaine.

And you are also right that each parent has to decide what

he/she thinks is best.
