Guest guest Posted January 2, 2002 Report Share Posted January 2, 2002 Hi .... I'm another one that's very sensitive to drugs. One time I was in the hospital for surgery... The nurse came in to give me 10mgs of Valium.... it was to calm me down....HA! It did the opposite and I was bouncing off the walls. They came in and had to hold me down on the bed to give me a shot.... My heart was racing so fast. Needless to say, surgery was cancelled that day. When I took Paxil it made me so tired all the time... my strange feeling during the day was that I couldn't figure things out. It was like my mind was mush. Zoloft was next, I took only the 25mgs and I was a walking zombie. I hated that drug also. I know that if I get that funny feeling, just not quite right, I get off the drug. It's not worth it to feel like that all the time. I think you hit on to something. Being low in the hormone dept can cause many problems and especially not feeling well. It would be good idea to get your levels checked.... At my worst, severe hot flashes and mood swings, my blood work came back in the normal range. The doctor suggested I still try it because I had all the symptoms. It work! Hot flashes went away, the mood swings were gone and I stopped sleeping so many hours. I do hope you get it all figured out. It's horrible to not feel right and not know what to do next. We have a very complex body!
