Guest guest
"If you can keep your head when all about youAre losing theirs and blaming it on you," . . . Above are the first lines of a Rudyard Kipling poem. The phrase that was popular when I was in college was: "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs. . . then perhaps you just do not UNDERSTAND the situation." I know, wierd, but I find this useful to keep in mind when endeavoring to communicate with doctors and hospitals and other "healthcare" providers. I just finished endeavoring to communicate with Edna's orthopedic surgeon who explained to me and to her sons that she must put only 40 lbs of pressure or weight on her surgerized leg.Neat trick, if you have the right technology. . . or. . . Perhaps the doctor just doesn't "under stand the situation." Edna is doing very well at the rehab. center and sends her love to all of you, Love, too, n
