Guest guest
Hi Jan! I found a Lazarus- technique in Vera, meaning " generally used for peritoneal lavage that may be adapted for creating a pneumoperitoneum for laparoscopy. Generally felt to be safer, especially in obese patients, than other blind methods for introducing pneumoperitoneum. " I don't know if that will help any, just thought I would throw it out there. -Lazarus catheter for paracentesis??? Hi all: I've checked Google, Vera, Tessier, and Stedman's GI/GU and can't verify this catheter.. Has anyone heard of it? Thanks in advance. Jan " Typing is my life " (said sarcastically) Remember... Guest guest
Hi Jan, In Vera Pyle's, I found " Lazarus- technique " - generally used for peritoneal lavage that may be adapted for creating a pneumo-peritoneum for laparoscopy. Generally felt to be safer, especially in obese patients, than other blind methods for introducing penumo-peritoneum. I don't know if this applies, but I thought I would throw it out here.
