Guest guest
Basic algebra isn't that hard. The advanced stuff, and triganometry, that's another kettle of fish. Then there's calculus . . .ick! Guest guest
Well some people think this pump stuff ia algebra. When I do sub an algebra class ratios (like carbs) and everyday usage are verymuch a part of my help. I really had a harder time with geometry in school than anything else including Calculus and differental equations. Guest guest
Interesting. Geometry was the only math class in which I ever got an A. RE: Algebra. Advanced mathematics comes easily to him. He uses algebra, geometry, calc and trig in his everyday life. In his immature elementary/high school years, he usually thought his teachers were blithering idiots because they could not answer his questions or solve the advanced math problems he was presenting to them. He's sort of like the " Good Will Hunting " character, without all the emotional hangups. <gggg> Fawnee said: <<<<Foreign language-no problem.>>>> On the other hand, while in the Marines, hubbie was tested for foreign language aptitude (so he could possibly be trained as an interpreter), and was told he had broken the record for the lowest foreign language aptitude score.
