Hi Cliff,

Just wanted to wish you the best with your new treatment. My Mom

just had her second treatment of Oxal/5fu. She's handling it pretty

well. If I can help answer any questions that may come up please let

me know or email me. Hoping you can continue Xeloda with the Oxal.

if it never failed you. Adding the Avastin sounds like a real plus.

Best of luck with everything.

Hi Cliff,

Just wanted to say, hang in there! Got the results of my bloodwork

the other day...bilirubin is now down to .9!!!! (that's finally in

the " normal " range). Bilirubin maxed out at 25 when I was in the

hospital in Sept. Most of the drop was due to the stent, I think...so

these things really can work. Hope you have equally good success

with yours!

Also hope you can stay on Xeloda & get the Avastin...that sounds a

good way to go. Of course, if they insist on doing IV 5-FU, it may

be a different method of delivery or dose intensity could stop the

problems you were having in 2000.

Best,

this all with such a positive outlook, backed up with practical

solutions. I find that inspiring.

Peace and warmest wishes,
