Hi Nan:

I understand exactly what you are saying - animals are

the best. I, too, have rescued a few horses, and all

of our dogs are strays or from shelters, and to work

them back to health and see them happy again is the

best medicine. We have raised baby chicks and ducks

when they were in danger from predators too - hand

raising and feeding from an eye dropper - they do

become family members.

We finally are getting over our rainy and cold days -

warm and sunny today thank goodness - but our corrals

and yard are still drying out from the downpour. I

wish I could keep them all warm and inside with me but

horses aren't exactly indoor pets lol. My husband is

very understanding, but he does draw the line at that

- as it is we have 3 dogs in the house and the other 3

dogs out living in the barn. Indoors we range from my

daughter's pug puppy to my old gal (17) a

shepherd/husky mix, and another shepherd. Outside we

have a queensland heeler mix, lab/ausie shepherd mix,

and rotweiler/shepherd mix. I love the big dogs but

that little pug has worked her way into our hearts too

- she even sleeps with my husband and I (he says we

snore the same) lol.

Yes, caring for the animals does give a purpose

besides just reaping all that unconditional love -

Hi all:

Sorry, I should have posted this update sooner about Nan. (my Dad

ended up with some unexpected heart issues post-bypass & I lost track

of time this weekend). I've talked w/Nan about every other day or

so. She's doing well with lots of walking two to three times a day.

She's had her share of side effects from the different narcotics that

they've tried with her. It sounds like anything morphine/codeine

related gives Nan lots of problems, ie. hallucinations, etc. That has

been the biggest challenge, it sounds like. Dr. Bridwell told her

that she will go home Mon. or Tues. (most likely Tuesday), and she has

already an apartment lined up in St. Louis for after discharge from

, and settled into it somewhat the week before her admission to

the hospital. She sounded really great today on the phone, just

anxious to be discharged and hopes for Tuesday.

If I hear more, I will post!

not so hard with hunnie now, he expects it and I have relaxed but try

and ask somebody else to do something omg the world died. I have a

sinus infection and am taking a Z pack for it.

I do understand how you feel Lynn. Sometimes you have to take a few steps back and things do fall into place. He does have plans for all of us. When I look back at my life, it's really interesting to see how things really do fall into place.Hang in there,Love Tracispinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: Hi sure hope so Traci. One would think with all of these women reporting these multiple strange sounding symptoms, that there would be a meeting of the minds and some doctors would actually report that people are having trouble. There are just too many for it to be: anxiety, hypochondria, etc...

I am glad there is a group to run all of this by. I didn't have this back when I first became affected and the medical community did their best to make me into a nut case...

Try to hang in there though and stay as calm as you can. Save the link with Dr. Sanger's name and contact info and maybe you can at least get a copy of the paper I talked about, should you need it...

that is one of the last symptoms I had, my right arm and hand went

without these women I would have lost my mind, thinking all these

strange symptoms don't go together, but they do. Love Nan
