The C2 tastes too strong to me after getting used to the smoother tasting diet. Also, there's something about the combination of sugar and aspertame that gives it a strange flavor. ~*~ Vicky ~*~ Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Guest guest
I have heard DB people were drinking Coca Cola C2 so I was curious so while I was at Publix and just browsing the soda isle (foaming at the mouth) and the Coke rep was there and I asked him about Coca Cola C2 and he said Coca Cola C2 tasted like week old flat warm coke, he also said and this is just FYI a plastic bottle of soda has small micro holes in it so eventually it will go flat even if you never open it up and a can of soda will go flat also. Coke C2 AND Pepsi Edge. Check the label and the carbs and sugar are half of the regular version. So it is like drinking half a bottle (or can) of the same thing. Because of that I haven't even tried them. Diet sodas have a much shorter shelf life than regular sodas. Double check expiration dates of diet sodas. I buy some at a local big supermarket (QFC) and half the time half the diets are out of date. BTW, I work in a store. And our coke rep claims that the C2 tastes the same as regular coke. But he is a coke rep. =)
