Guest guest
I think your onc has a good plan. Scans every 4 weeks to monitor the sitution is far better than the onc I was seeimg. He let me go for almost 6 months without a scan. Recently when I asked him for a new scan he refused. I don't see that onc anymore. Guest guest
, Thanks, it helps a lot. I am getting my port on Friday and my MRI and chest X-ray next week. I hope to start the regimen on the following Monday. I am a little curious about the pump they put on. Someone said it sounds a little loud, is it bulky or a little thing? Looking just for info so I know what to expect. Thanks, my prayers are with all of you and keep up the good spirits. Jennie
Guest guest
Hi Nick, I am on the Double-Blinded study. I am currently being treated at University of Pennsylvania Hospital Abramson Cancer Center. I was asked to participate by my oncologist. Thanks, Jennie
Guest guest
I am not sure originally it was nicknamed Veg F.(bevacizumab) I was not aware it is available in pill form. I know of Velcade(bortezomib) and a trial of BMS-247550 and C1-1040 because a neighbor has stableized pancreatic cancer and has survived for 5 years. It used to be a death sentence, she had multiple myelomas but still is on a chemo regimine. She has used some of the combos the onc. has used on me. Camptosar and celebrex plus others. Maybe someone else can fill you in. I am going to ask tomorrow if the Avastin is available in pill form, whyI was not told. Insurance covers pills, but we have to pay20% of the injectables. Stay positive, everyone will pull for you. Hugs and prayers Nick & Jane. There are always options for today and for tomorrow, you just may have given me a new window of opportuinty. Thank you
