Guest guest
robyn, i found the answer, three glasses of red wine & two valiums...not taken all at the same time of course as one would not want to be completely comatose! lol dawn > Good Morning Dawn, > If you find a way to get your mind around the fear of terrorist attacks in the air then please let me know. As you already know, my husband is terrified of just " normal " flying. With the threat of terrorists now shooting planes out of the sky, with the anniversary of 9/11 while we are in the USA, with us flying to USA and then flying United while we are over there - my husband is paranoid. I'd love an answer to his fears. But I have none.

Guest guest
I didn't think you could mix alcohol and valium??? I just plan on making him drink copious amounts of Jack s before and during the flights. It seemed to help on our last trip - certainly much more than the 6 valium did. Guest guest
You do have to be really careful with the valium/alcohol combo. I've taken a valium and then had one rum and coke, but my valium are only 2 mgs. It is best to avoid it, but I knew it wouldn't matter if I fell asleep on the way home since I can't drive anyway. Higher doses and/or more alcohol can cause coma though so it is just best avoided. Kathy Re: paranoic fits I didn't think you could mix alcohol and valium???
