Guest guest
Gayla, I developed several severe food allergies. Those were actually diagnosed before my GD. My other allergies worsened as well, pollen etc. Most noticably though were the food. A blood test was done to find them. Since I have been on PTU for 9 months and completely changed my diet I am feeling better, but it's still up and down. Regulating medication can be a real bitch, but still I am grateful, I believe the meds have saved me. I haven't worked since last October. Am just now feeling ready to work again. Dont get me wrong, I am on the mend, and I dont mean to sound like a downer, but I had to change most every part of my life to accomodate this illness and have discovered that much of my recovery and healing has had to come from a positive desire within myself to be well. keep up the research, it's your best weapon. Good luck Val
Guest guest
Gayla A good natural allergy site is www.naet.com or .org I don't remember for sure, try them both. You may be able to get a temporary handicap sticker, your dr. or endo will have to do the paper work, try it Gayla. Did you call your dr. yesterday to get into your endo quicker? Take care, Jody _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
Guest guest
Hi Gayla, I have an article on allergies related to GD on suite 101. Go to www.suite101.com and do a search on graves disease or elaine moore. It's the newest article.
