Just a warning to all of you who are not politically to the Left of Noam

Chomsky and his ilk, this is about as unbiased as a trip to a Taliban pep

rally. Can't we just have a Graves Group without this tripe?

Hey Terry... I think it's good you posted the WARNING, but I can't agree

when you said " Can't we just have a Graves Group without this tripe? "

....fair's fair... it was labelled " OT " .

I personally was grateful for the link, I want to read everything I can

about what is going on - I want to read stuff I disagree with, I want to

read what " the left " and " the right " and the " a-political " and the " in

between " thinks, I want to know what Muslims and Hindus and Jews and

Christians around the world are thinking etc etc ... I don't want to be

restricted to just stuff that supports what I already know, or think I know.

Maybe we should be even more overt in our subject labelling in the Graves'

group: perhaps " OT - terrorism/world crisis arguements - a link " ?

Hi Terry-

I agree with you. I'm tired of propaganda no matter what side it supports.

It seems that if people can find information that supports their views, it's

" the real story " . If it's against their views, it's propaganda. This is

very complex and it seems that, whatever our response, there is no complete

right answer.

I, too, would prefer to keep our board concentrating on matters of Graves'

and matters that are personal and to us. Anyone that is interested in

pursuing all aspects of this war can easily find it on the internet (which

all of us on this board have access to) or in newspapers, journals and

books. Just because this information is not posted on this site doesn't

mean that it's not freely available to us whenever we want it. I have had

no trouble finding information no matter what side it supports. In fact,

there is so much material, that I'm having trouble reading it all.

In 's defense, she did post it as OT and just listed a website address.

I didn't have to go there, although I did. But this could go on forever.

For every valid argument supporting one side, there's an equally valid

argument supporting the other. If anyone feels that any OT info (either

way) needs to be rebutted, this list could become a dizzying panoply of OT

posts. Staggering!!!!

Just my opinion. All in all though, I would prefer not to have information

that doesn't directly apply to us on this board. That someone can possibly

draw a parallel from our response to the behavior of these terrorists upsets

me and many others on the board. Since I don't think that's the purpose of

this board, I would prefer that we conduct our searches on this material in

private or, perhaps, we can privately email this type of material.

I guess that I believe that we all are together in that we have Graves' no

matter what our political views are. If offtopic material is posted that

tears us apart, I don't believe this is the forum for it.
