When I first started the med I did feel a little spacy but I adjusted well after a few weeks. My dose started out at 50mg x 2 then 75 mg x 2 and now im 100 mg x 2. I don't feel any different on the 100mg than i did on the 50 and am tolerating it well. I can't take my sinus meds with it without feeling like im wasted and in another world so I now adjust the dose and only take half the sinus med and at bed time so I can sleep through most of it. I can get a little lightheaded if I jump up out of a chair or bed but other than that I don't have any problems with it. I had to accept I needed it then it was easier for me because I don't like taking drugs. a in Massachusetts
Guest guest
I found it a bit of both.Dont forget you heart when in Af it only works 70% so your missing 30% of your power. Also the drugs are powerful and this add up to you feeling pretty awful. take care JOHN C >Hello Everyone. > >I am a 27 year old male who has had Atril Fib for the last 7 years. >I have taken atenenol, beta pace, sotalol...for the first 4, then >tried going without medication for 2 years...recently I have had a >bad reaction to Flecanide, and I am now on Toprol. Guest guest
Hi Greg: I'm on 75mg of ToprolXL - and have not had any problems with it whatsoever. I take it at night with my evening dose of Dofetilide and Coumadin (without food). Guest guest
The symptoms you notice on Toprol XL are not unusual. I have had similar issues, especially the light headed stuff. My cardio is weaning me off, or down to a small dose, and keeping me on higher dose of beta Pace and Coumadin > Hi Greg: > > I'm on 75mg of ToprolXL - and have not had any problems with it whatsoever. > I take it at night with my evening dose of Dofetilide and Coumadin (without > food). > > Ellen > ********************************* > ----- Original Message ----- > From: " johnsto3 " <johnsto3@y...> > (snip) Let me know your opinion of Toprol if you have one....
