Guest guest
Hi, Just to throw my two cents in here....there are other things that can cause the weight gain and breast tenderness...possibly estrogen dominance? Maybe your body is in need of progesterone? HTH, Kat > > Has anyone experienced breast tenderness or weight gain while > taking Armour Thyroid? Guest guest
It is odd that the breast tenderness would start after taking the Armour though. I only experience breast tenderness a few days before my period; this began happening two weeks before my period. I am estrogen dominant and is why I started applying natural Progesterone a couple days ago, but I wouldn't want the Armour to be making it possible for my estrogen to increase even more. I have been trying to do some research on the internet to better understand this but I haven't been getting a clear enough picture. The only soy I consume is a plain organic soy yogurt, so I am eliminating it from my diet just incase and about a week and a half ago I had a lot of soy nut over a short period of time, but I can't image how it could have such a dramatic affect on my body. The only thing I have been taking regularly is the Armour and vitamins including glandulars to help my adrenals. > > > > Has anyone experienced breast tenderness or weight gain while > > taking Armour Thyroid? Guest guest
Hi, Just my two bits, ?How long have you been on Armour? If its only been a couple of days or weeks things will be changing in your body as it begins to heal from the lack of Thyroid hormones. Give your body time to adjust, it may be that something is healing and the 'relief' of the healing is being exhibited as tenderness. I don't know what your doseage is of Armour, nor what your diagnosis is, so, it is possible that this is your bodies way of telling you that you might need more or less of the Armour... Wait it out and see. I treat based upon how I feel and basal temps. Listen to your body and go slowly... I used to experience most of my soreness then, and not actually when my period started. After being on the progesterone cream about 6 months, I no longer have even that. Guest guest
I started Armour a year ago....my periods seemed to regulate and with that came PMS including breast tenderness....it was much reduced this last month while on prog cream. What brands do all of you use of the cream?
