Good news about the blood work. UGH about the septic tank. This is the

first house we have owned with a septic tank. and so far <knock on wood>

<lots of praying> no problems. And hopefully we won't have any before we

are incorporated! We have city water and use a 10 step filtration

system-just not city sewage until we get incorporated...

septic tank and field.....what a week. I am still waiting to start ivig

Sorry I put that in big letters, I wanted to catch you before you spent a lot of

money for nothing. I grew up on septic tanks, my leach field wasn't enough, we

extended it. There are a ton of different things to try, that won't cost a leg.

Pattie, our field was built in 1940 so it is not only old but small. When we

bought the house in 1999 we replaced a d-box and straight pipe right away that

was tough. The cost 1500 dollars approx. We have a friend (my husband is a

firefighter so they all have part time jobs) who is doing the work. The

bathroom in our basement needs a seaprate tank and we have to do new plumbing

TGIF!!

I went to see a doctor on from the website that Patty posted - the

one which listed doctors who prescribe armour thyroid. HE WAS

WONDERFUL! He is a family doctor who specializes in thyroid. He is

both a medical doctor and natural doctor. He says he tries to do

what is best for each patient.

I am set up the week after next to get my Free T3 & T4 check as well

as my Cortisol that morning (then later that afternoon) and my DHEA.

He said we can do the saliva testing if I prefer but it is not

covered by insurance. So we are choosing to do the blood cortisol

first and then the saliva test if I want. He wants to see all the

records from my recent rheum visit and if my ana isn't getting better

he would like to do food testing tests (if that makes sense on me).

He does admit there is a correlation to implants and sickness.

He was great!! I told him about the last endo I saw, the one that

was so rude to me and gave my synthroid without even taking my

blood. He knew her and stated that I am not the only person who has

ever called her rude.

Anyhow, just wanted to share my news... I guess I can now fire my

regular family doctor since this doc does it all Oh, and Patty he

is on the same page as you with Synthroid not doing a thing for

people who have trouble converting T4 to T3. He said they can take

as much as they want and it won't help. But he said it does work for

certain people. Again, it is all individual.
